A Freestanding Wardrobe Set for an Upper West Side Apartment

This three-piece wardrobe closet collection was delivered to an apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. All three units were ordered in white matte with rod chrome handles, giving the set a unified, modern appearance that blends easily into the neutral-toned rooms. The apartment features classic pre-war details including hardwood floors and exposed brick walls, and the clean white finish of the wardrobes complements those elements without competing with them. Each piece serves a different storage purpose, and together they provide a full closet solution spread across the home.

Wardrobe Armoire and Two-Door Wardrobe for Hanging and Folded Storage

The largest piece in the set is a wardrobe armoire with two cabinet doors on top and three exterior drawers below. The upper cabinet section offers adjustable shelves and hanging space, while the drawers handle folded clothing, accessories, or linens. Full extension drawer slides were added for easier access. The second unit is a classic two-door freestanding wardrobe with doors that provides full-length hanging storage behind closed doors. Both pieces stand on their own without any wall attachment or installation, making them a practical choice for a rental apartment where permanent modifications are not an option.

Narrow Storage Closet Completes the Collection

The third piece is a narrow storage closet with a single left-opening door and three adjustable shelves inside. An interior mirror upgrade was included on this unit as well. It fits into a tight spot beside an exposed brick wall and ornate fireplace, turning an otherwise unused corner into functional storage. The rod chrome handles across all three pieces tie the collection together visually, even though the units are placed in different rooms.
