Two-Door Wardrobe with Storage Topper and Drawers | New York, NY

A Matching Wardrobe Pair for a New York Apartment

This New York project includes two freestanding wardrobe closets delivered to the same home, a two-door wardrobe with exterior drawers and a narrow wardrobe positioned near the window. Both pieces share the same White Glossy front finish, White Matte case, and L Chrome Handles, creating a coordinated look across the room. Each wardrobe adds a storage topper cabinet that maximizes vertical space without expanding the floor footprint. The glossy fronts create a clean, reflective surface that brightens the apartment and gives both pieces a polished, contemporary appearance.

Two-Door Wardrobe with Drawers and Interior Storage

The larger of the two wardrobes features two doors, three exterior drawers at the base, and a storage topper above. Behind the glossy doors, the interior offers a layered storage layout in a matching White Matte finish. A full-width hanging rod near the top accommodates dresses, coats, and other full-length garments. Below the rod, adjustable shelves provide dedicated space for folded clothing, bags, and accessories that benefit from stacked organization. Interior drawers at the bottom keep smaller items like scarves, belts, and undergarments neatly tucked away. The exterior drawers beneath the main doors offer easy access to frequently used items. L Chrome Handles on both the doors and drawers add a sleek, modern accent that complements the glossy finish.

Narrow Wardrobe with Topper by the Window

The second piece is a narrow single-door wardrobe with its own storage topper, placed beside the window where a wider wardrobe would not fit. This slim unit adds hanging or shelf storage in a footprint that works in tight corners, beside a desk, or flanking a window without blocking light. The storage topper above matches the one on the larger wardrobe, keeping the pair visually consistent. Together, the two wardrobes deliver the storage capacity of a full closet system while remaining completely freestanding and easy to reposition if the room layout changes. Contempo Space delivered and installed both wardrobes at the customer's home, ensuring every door, drawer, and shelf was aligned and ready to use.
