TV Wardrobe Wall with Eight Drawers & Tall Closets | Sleepy Hollow, NY

A TV Armoire and Two Closets on One Bedroom Wall

This bedroom in Sleepy Hollow, New York needed three things on one wall: a place for the TV, drawer storage and real hanging space. The answer was a TV wardrobe wall built from two pieces. At the center is an Aventa TV armoire with an open TV niche, two open cubbies and eight drawers, topped by a pair of upper cabinet doors. On either side, the Alta Extra Tall 8 Door closet package adds two tall double-door wardrobes, each with its own upper cabinet. Everything is finished in Leather Pearl Matte with Rod Chrome bar handles, so the three sections read as one continuous, freestanding unit.

Eight Drawers and a Media Niche in the Center

The center section does the work of a dresser and a TV stand at once. Eight drawers in two columns hold folded clothing, while the open niche above holds the TV, with a round cable opening in the back panel to keep wires out of sight. Two open cubbies under the niche are sized for a streaming box, a soundbar or a speaker. The delivered model is the Aventa Wardrobe (Center Only) 8 Drawer 43 x 94, which is designed to pair with wardrobe cabinets on each side. It is one of several layouts in our bedroom entertainment center collection, all customizable in finish, handle and drawer configuration.

Tall Closets with Mirrors Inside the Doors

Each side of the wall is a tall double-door wardrobe from the Alta Extra Tall 8 Door closet package, with a chrome hanging rod below and adjustable shelves in the upper cabinets above. The order also added full-length mirrors on the inside of the outermost doors, one on each wardrobe, so opening a door gives a full dressing mirror without hanging one on the wall. The upper cabinets line up across all three sections, turning the space above the TV and the closets into closed storage for off-season clothing and bedding. Every piece is built with an engineered wood core and a thermally fused melamine finish. Contempo Space delivered the TV wardrobe wall fully assembled and set it up at the customer's Sleepy Hollow, New York home.
