Tall Six-Drawer Wardrobe Closet with Storage Toppers | Brooklyn, NY

A Tall Wardrobe for a Brooklyn Bedroom

This bedroom in Brooklyn, New York gained a full closet's worth of storage on a single wall with the Alta Tall Wardrobe Closet Package. The package pairs two double-door wardrobe cabinets with two matching storage toppers, bringing the total height to 86 inches while the footprint stays 65 inches wide and 21.75 inches deep. Finished in White Matte with rounded Rex Chrome handles, it has a clean, bright look that suits a modern bedroom. As a tall wardrobe, it uses the height of the room instead of the floor, which matters in a city apartment where every square foot counts. Both cabinets are freestanding, with nothing fastened to the wall.

Six Interior Drawers Under the Hanging Space

Each wardrobe holds a chrome hanging rod with three interior drawers beneath it, for six drawers in total across the package. That makes it a dresser and a closet in one: shirts, dresses and jackets hang above, while folded clothing, socks and accessories go in the drawers below. Because the drawers sit behind the doors, the front of the wardrobe stays clean and uninterrupted. The Alta Tall Wardrobe Closet Package with six drawers arrives as four pieces sized to fit through standard doorways, then is secured together into one unit during setup.

Storage Toppers Make the Most of the Ceiling Height

The two 14-inch storage toppers sit directly above the wardrobes and open separately, adding a shelf of closed storage at the top of the unit. It is the right spot for off-season clothing, spare bedding and luggage, things you want nearby but not in the way. In a white wardrobe like this one, the toppers blend seamlessly with the cabinets below so the whole piece reads as one tall closet. Every component is built with an engineered wood core and a thermally fused melamine finish. Contempo Space delivered the wardrobe package fully assembled and set it up at the customer's Brooklyn, New York home.
