This custom wardrobe system in Stone Matte was designed and delivered to a home in Avon, New Jersey. The piece combines a large wardrobe section with multiple hinged doors, an upper row of open cubbies framed in Aubergine Colored Glass, and a dedicated nook designed to house a beverage filling station. Stone Matte has a cool gray texture with subtle concrete-inspired grain that gives the system a modern, understated character. The Aubergine Colored Glass framing the upper cubbies adds a deep, rich accent that contrasts with the neutral Stone Matte surface, creating visual depth across the full height of the unit. Rod Chrome handles run across all doors with a clean, linear profile.

Beverage Station Nook and Versatile Storage

A standout feature of this custom unit is the nook on the left side, designed specifically to frame and house a beverage filling station mounted on the wall. The cabinet below the nook conceals the mechanical components and plumbing connections behind hinged doors, keeping the area clean and streamlined. While the beverage station itself was not installed by Contempo Space, the wardrobe system was custom-built around it so the two elements work together as a unified piece. The wardrobe sections behind the main doors are divided into distinct zones — one features a full hanging rod for coats, dresses, and longer garments, while an adjacent section is fitted with multiple adjustable shelves for folded clothing, shoes, or storage bins. The open cubbies along the top provide quick-access storage without the need to open any doors.

Freestanding Design with Rod Chrome Handles

This wardrobe system stands freestanding and does not require wall mounting or permanent installation. The tall profile takes advantage of vertical space from near floor level up to the ceiling line, maximizing storage capacity without increasing the footprint across the floor. Rod Chrome handles extend across each door with a slim, cylindrical shape that complements the modern tone of the Stone Matte finish. The Aubergine Colored Glass accents on the upper section tie the entire composition together with a bold color detail that elevates the piece beyond a standard wardrobe. Contempo Space delivered and installed the wardrobe system at the customer's Avon home with professional in-home setup.
