This bedroom installation upgrades the storage capacity for this Miramar Lakes, Florida home with a custom pier wall headboard system designed for a king-size bed.
The centerpiece features a generous headboard with a convenient top-closing lid that reveals hidden storage—perfect for extra pillows, seasonal bedding, or rarely used items that require convenient but discreet access.
The pier wall extends symmetrically on both sides of the king bed with multifunctional wardrobes that address diverse storage needs. Each side unit features vertical organization with hanging storage occupying the upper portion, transitioning to an illuminated display section below that serves as an integrated nightstand alternative. These open areas include two shelves each—one glass shelf providing dimensional interest—with mirrored backing that reflects light and creates visual depth and amplifies the ambient glow from the integrated LED lighting, which is strategically positioned in both the top bridge of the pier wall and the nightstand areas, controlled by convenient switches. Below these display sections, three drawers provide additional storage for clothing and personal items.
The entire composition features a unified Stone Matte finish on both case and front surfaces, creating a monolithic appearance that brings subtle texture and contemporary sophistication to the Miramar Lakes bedroom.
