Entryway Storage Armoire with Display Nook and Drawers | Ridgewood, NY

A Statement Storage Piece for the Entryway

This Ridgewood, New York project features a freestanding entryway storage armoire delivered and placed near the home's front door. The client chose a Eucalyptus Matte finish, a rich dark wood grain that brings warmth and sophistication to the space. Positioned in the entryway, the piece greets visitors with its commanding presence while serving a practical storage role. The wardrobe closet combines an open display nook, dresser drawers, and enclosed cabinetry into one cohesive freestanding unit. Its Eucalyptus Matte panels have a smooth, low-sheen surface that resists fingerprints and complements a range of interior styles. This single piece transformed an underused entryway into a functional and visually striking focal point.

Illuminated Display Nook and Dresser Drawers

At the center of the armoire sits an illuminated open display nook with integrated LED lighting, perfect for showcasing decorative objects, artwork, or keepsakes. Dresser drawers flank both sides of the nook, providing organized storage for accessories, keys, mail, or household items. The Rod Chrome Handles offer a sleek, modern accent that pairs naturally with the dark Eucalyptus Matte finish. Each drawer glides smoothly on quality hardware, ensuring daily use is effortless. The combination of open display space and concealed drawer storage gives the homeowner flexibility in how they use the piece. This layout mirrors the versatility found in modern armoires, blending visibility and privacy in one design.

Upper Cabinets and a Seamless Delivery

Upper cabinets crown the armoire, adding enclosed storage above. These upper compartments are ideal for seasonal items, extra linens, or belongings that need to stay out of everyday reach. Together, the upper and base sections create a substantial freestanding piece that maximizes vertical storage without requiring any wall attachment. The proportions suit the entryway perfectly, filling the wall space without overwhelming the room. The Eucalyptus Matte finish runs consistently across every surface, from the base drawers through the topper doors. Contempo Space delivered and assembled the complete armoire project at the Ridgewood residence, leaving the homeowner with a ready-to-use statement piece.
