Computer Armoire with a Hidden Workstation & Storage Towers | Miami, FL

A Home Office That Disappears in a Miami Bedroom

This apartment bedroom in Miami, Florida gets a real place to work without turning the room into an office, thanks to a computer armoire, a single freestanding cabinet that hides a complete workstation behind its doors. Closed, it looks like a clean, modern cabinet: Stone Matte fronts with no handles, set against a Black Matte case for a subtle two-tone outline. At 64 inches wide and 84 inches tall, it fits beside the window without crowding the bed, and when the workday is over the doors close and the office is gone.

Storage Towers and a Lift-Up Top Cabinet

The Haley is built around three zones. Tall storage towers on the left and right each hold adjustable shelves and two interior drawers, which is enough room for files, office supplies and personal items. Above the center, an upper door lifts up and stays open on a gas strut, giving easy access to a deep cabinet for anything you want close but out of sight. The Black Matte interior keeps the inside looking tidy even when the doors are open. It is a far more complete setup than a standalone desk, and every surface is built with an engineered wood core and a thermally fused melamine finish.

A Full Workstation Behind the Bifold Door

The center of the armoire is the workstation itself. A bifold door folds out of the way instead of swinging into the room, revealing a 31-inch-wide computer area with a cable opening in the back panel for chargers and monitor cables. Pull-out shelves give the keyboard and printer their own space, and the shelving above holds supplies. The Haley Computer Armoire is customizable in matte, mirrored, glossy or colored glass fronts with a wide choice of case finishes. For an open desk you can leave set up, see our wall unit desks. Contempo Space delivered the Haley fully assembled and set it up at the customer's Miami, Florida home.
