Two Beige Matte Wardrobes for a New York City Apartment

This project includes two custom freestanding wardrobes in Beige Matte, both designed and delivered to a New York City apartment. Each wardrobe was built to fit a different room and serve a different storage function, but they share the same Beige Matte finish and L Black handles for a coordinated look throughout the home. The warm, neutral Beige Matte surface has a smooth, non-reflective finish that blends easily with the apartment's existing decor.

Bedroom Wardrobe with Cabinets, Doors, and Drawers

The first wardrobe is a wide, tall piece placed in the bedroom near a doorway. It has three storage zones stacked vertically: a pair of upper cabinet doors at the top for items used less frequently, two full wardrobe doors in the middle section for hanging garments and everyday clothing, and three pull-out drawers at the bottom for folded items like t-shirts, undergarments, and accessories. L Black handles provide a consistent geometric accent across all doors and drawers.

Hallway Wardrobe with Adjustable Shelves

The second wardrobe is a narrower, tall piece placed in a hallway area of the apartment. It features an upper cabinet section and full-height doors below. Opening the doors reveals a full column of adjustable shelves — ideal for shoes, bags, folded sweaters, or household items that need quick access near the entryway. Both wardrobes stand freestanding and require no wall attachment or permanent installation, making them well suited for apartment living. Contempo Space delivered and assembled both pieces on-site at the customer's New York apartment.
