I'm looking at the Queen Platform Bed with 4 Drawers and was wondering how many inches are between the edge of the bed and the drawer? For example, I have a night stand I'd like to put next to the bed and would like to know how many inches I have to work with that would allow the drawers to still be pulled out.

From the head of this platform bed to the first drawer is 21 inches.
If there are 8 drawers - 4 on each side - would the height of the bed change and if so what would that height be?

Depending on whether you wanted to change simply the size of the drawers on this platform bed to be smaller where we could substitute 2 drawers on each side for 4 smaller ones. If you are looking to add another 2 drawers on top each side, then it would raise the overall height of the platform bed. Is a box spring recommended for the Queen Platform bed with 4 drawers?

For all of our platform beds, since it is a solid surface, there is no box spring needed since the mattress is designed to sit directly on the platform's solid top.
