1. Matte, Mirror or Glass?

The fronts of most of our contemporary furniture lines can be chosen from the following:

Matte finishes include 11 choices of light wood, dark wood, black, white and more.

Glossy black or white always look sharp on modern furniture.

Mirrored fronts are unique, and often hard to find elsewhere. Mirrored front wardrobes are especially popular because they not only help a room really look its best, but they also eliminate the need for another mirror in the bedroom.

Colored glass fronts are available in 24 colors at the time of this writing. These exclusive colors allow the custom furniture shopper to match nearly any decor.

2. What’s Your Favorite Color?

Once your preferred material has been chosen, you get to decide a color. Some customers match their new furniture to what they already have, while others prefer to get something completely different for contrast.

3. Mix or Match?

Contempo Space furniture doesn’t have to be the same color all the way around.

The case (sides) can be one finish, and the front can be something entirely different.

4. Furniture Handles

Some of our furniture doesn’t use handles, but for the pieces that do there are over a dozen styles to choose from. Many handles are available in chrome or brass.

5. Interior Customization

Need more shelves or an extra hangrod? No problem. There’s even an array of add-on accessories to choose from for the wardrobes.

6. Do You Need Fully Custom?

At Contempo Space we are unique in that our headquarters is a factory showroom. This means that the people who make the furniture are at the same location as the design consultants.

So if your space or decor needs something special, it’s no problem. Your designer can go back to the factory and hand a drawing to the guys who will be building your furniture, and you’ll get what you need.

Dress Up Your Furniture

There’s no reason that the custom process needs to stop with us.  There are a myriad of things you could do to your furniture as well, to help create a custom look that can
change with seasons, events, or just how you’re feeling.

First and foremost, remember that we are not talking about modifying your furniture.  Leave the tools in the shed unless you’re either a.) really handy or b.) OK with voiding
the warranty.

What we’re talking about here is using simple things like flowers, curtains, sheets, pottery, and other little accents to give your furniture a little more jazz.

For example, try draping a blanket or embroidered sheet over a chair (as seen above) or on top of a TV Stand.

Or, considering the wide array of storage options on Contempo Wall Entertainment Centers, there’s plenty of room for little decorative options such as framed pictures, potted plants, artwork and other small pieces.

Decals and stickers can be tacky, but for children’s furniture they can really help brighten up the room and add a little theme.  Imagine for example how some of

Who Wants a Drugstore Valentine?

Until the late 18th century, most Valentine cards were hand-written, unique tributes to everlasting love and romance.  However, as postal and printing rates reduced, the infinitely more convenient (and profitable) practice of purchasing “mechanical valentines” became customary throughout Europe and America.

Good for Hallmark, but really, who wants a drugstore valentine?  Who believes that their love fits neatly into a box of disposable limericks for sale at the nearest convenience store?
