We’re super excited to be exhibiting at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show again this year!

If you’re going to be near New York City this upcoming Friday, Saturday or Sunday (March 22-24) we invite you to come check out some of our furniture and samples of the materials we use when creating it.

Special preview tickets are also available for Thursday, March 21. Details are on the official site.

There are always plenty of other high quality exhibits at the show as well, so it’s a worthwhile trip no matter what, and a fun way to spend the day.

The show is held indoors at Pier 94, 55th Street at Twelfth Avenue, NYC. Directions for driving, public transportation, even airfare and hotel discounts, are all available at the official site.

It’s still not too late to register for discounted admission using the instructions we posted a few weeks ago.

While we’re at the show, our factory showroom in Passaic, NJ will be closed to the public. We will reopen for normal hours on Monday, March 25.

So if you can’t make it to the show, while you’ll be missing what promises to be another excellent display of quality and creativity, you can still come check us out on the Jersey side of the river any other time you’d like.

Contempo Space Appearing at Architectural Digest Home Design Show 2012

Contempo Space will appear at the Architectural Digest Home Design ShowNJ Furniture Manufacturer Contempo Space will be appearing at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show March 22-25, 2012 at Pier 94 in Manhattan.

Passaic, NJ Feb. 20, 2012 – For nearly 50 years, Contempo Space has provided quality, hand-made custom furniture to customers throughout the Northeast.  On March 22-25, 2012, representatives from Contempo Space will be appearing at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show, highlighting the latest in modern furnishing  designs and solutions. Contempo Space will be presenting at booth #511, where the manufacturer will showcase products from family brands Contempo Closet and Contempo Wall.

This year marks the 11th annual Architectural Digest Home Design Show.  In addition to nearly 400 attending brands, the show will feature a keynote presentation by Architectural Digest Editor-in-Chief Margaret Russell, design seminars presented by The New York Times, cooking demonstrations, and one-on-one design consultations.

Thursday March 22, the show will begin at 10am and end at 7pm.  This day is only open to trade and preview guests.  Registered interior designers and licensed architects may pre-register by March 15.  Consumers may purchase preview tickets for $95.  Purchase includes a one-year subscription to Architectural Digest, gift bag, and cocktail reception.

Friday through Sunday, the show will be open to the public.  Friday March 23 and Saturday March 24, the show will begin at 10am and end at 7pm.  Sunday, the show will begin at 10am and end at 6pm.

Tickets are available for $25 in advance or $30 on-site.  Advance purchase includes a one-year subscription to Architectural Digest.

Children under age 12 may enter the show free.

Contempo Space Connects with Customers at ACS NJ Spring Home Show

Passaic, NJ Feb. 20. 2012 – Contempo Space has nearly 50 years of experience crafting custom modern furniture.  This past weekend, Feb. 17-19, 2012, representatives from Contempo Space exhibited at the ACS New Jersey Spring Home Show at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus.  The representatives connected with customers and colleagues, showcasing new products from Contempo Wall and Contempo Closet with great zeal and success.

“It’s always fun to come out here and meet with the customers,” says Contempo Space representative Gary Flax. “It helps to get a real sense of what people are looking for and what they want, which helps us design furniture that looks great and fulfills people’s needs.”

Exhibiting at Booth 411, the Contempo Space representatives passed out leaflets and brochures to interested customers, while also highlighting new features and designs from Contempo Space.   Contempo Space placed two products on display – Contempo Closet’s Alpha Wardrobe Collection and a customized Tristan Wall Unit from Contempo Wall.

Contempo Space’s new LED light solutions were received with particular intrigue.  Customers were treated to a demonstration of Contempo’s new light solutions as LED bulbs flickered on and off with opening closet doors and strip lights created a radiant halo surrounding mirrors and shelves.

Join Contempo Space at the ACS NJ Spring Home ShowNJ Furniture Manufacturer Contempo Space will be appearing at the American Consumer Service (ACS) New Jersey Spring Home Show Feb. 17-19 2012 at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Seacaucus, NJ at booth #411

Passaic, NJ Feb. 13, 2012 – For nearly 50 years, Contempo Space has provided quality, hand-made custom furniture to customers throughout the Northeast.  This weekend, representatives from Contempo Space will be gladly appearing at the ACS New Jersey Spring Home Show, highlighting the best in home décor.  Contempo Space will be appearing at booth #411, where they will showcase products from family brands Contempo Closet and Contempo Wall.

The ACS New Jersey Spring Home Show will be held at the Meadowlands Expo Center.  The show is free to attend and parking is available at no charge.  Strollers are welcome and refreshments will be available for purchase.  The facility does have wheelchair access; however, wheelchairs will not be available for public use.

The show will begin Friday, February 17 at 11am.  Friday night the show will close at 9pm.  The show shall resume Saturday, Feb. 18, at 10am then close at 10pm that night.  Sunday, February 19, the final day of the show, the Expo will open at 10am and close at 6pm.
