Can you add a rod to the single door piece to make it double hanging?

You sure can add a 2nd hanging level to the single door narrow wardrobes on either side by adding item # 5516 in the desired qty.

Is there shelving available in the right closet door?

Shelves can be added to the narrow side cabinets by adding item # 11255 in the desired qty.

Can you please tell me exactly what this item is made out of. Is it Melamine, is is particleboard, mdf or real wood??
